Advantages Great performance Disadvantages A few niggles - see below
...I am new to Ciao and this is my first review (second attempt), so please bear with me. Looking around I saw that there had been no reviews on 'my' laptop, so here goes.
I bought my Evo in 2002. I wanted a laptop, because I just did, and I also needed to upgrade as my desk top had seen better days. It wasn't cheap, but I wanted a reliable work horse and this had been recommended by a friend who worked in IT. I didn't know about Ciao back then, and was finding the whole processes of 'which laptop?' very confusing. At the time I was working from home so needed something to cope with business and home use.
I can't complain about the reliability (it has never crashed and given me heart failure - touch wood) or performance. It is much better than my desk top. I work it hard and it never complains. It is not as fast as I would like...
