Reduced legacy dependency means lower acquisition costs, fewer software and hardware conflicts, fewer pieces to manage, and lower support costs throughout the life of the PC. The Evo D500 Ultra-slim Desktop is built to meet the IT needs of today and support evolving technologies, such as MultiPort and MultiBay hardware. The new modular MultiPort is an innovative solution from Compaq that is common with the Evo Notebook product line and set to support wireless technologies of today and tomorrow. Designed for quick and easy setup in both wired and wireless environments, the Evo D500 Ultra-slim Desktop is the first PC built with integrated wireless functionality. The Compaq MulitBay solution enables hot-swapping of devices, such as CD-RW, DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, diskette drives and future removable storage options. In addition, save time and money by easily sharing drives between multiple users of both the new Evo D500 Ultra-slim Desktop and Evo notebooks.
