Aren't kids great? I co-signed for my oldest to get this TV. It's been MINE now for about 8 months. I am not one to read directions. But I will tell you, in this digital age, my household has a LOT of toys. I have this TV in my bedroom. I have a DVD player hooked up to it and a VCR also hooked up to it. We bought this t.v. at Sam's Club a couple of years ago for $299. At the time the most comparable televisions cost about $400-$450. We were a little unsure of the manufacturers reputation but we took the gamble anyways. This turned out to be a very good decision. We have the dvr hooked up with s-video and the picture quality is as close to H.D. as I think possible. Better yet, the dvd player is hooked up by component and the picture quality is even ...

This is a very nice tv to buy for the kids. It has a nice vcr that plays really clear pictures and the sound goes up really loud.
