This is a nice looking tv to have. My kids received one from their father. It has a very clear picture on the screen and it plays movies really well. They are real clear and has never been fuzzy or anything. The remote is simple to use for them and the tv is not complicated at all to use. It is not too heavy either. The kids grandma bought this tv for them. It has some nice qualities.
Advantages are:
The picture is very nice and clear. It is very easy to program when wanting to record a tv show. It is very easyto work especially for my five year old.
It plays movies really good and it has everything needed to pause, play, rewind, fastforward, and to stop.
It comes with a nice remote that is very little and not hard to use at all.

Toshiba has definitely done well with the 13 inch MD13M1. It is a fairly compact CRT type television that conveniently comes with a built in DVD player. The compact size has done very well for us in our daughters playroom allowing her to sit a bit closer in a smaller room.
The television was a gift from granny so I cannot give you a fair price, but I have seen it listed online in the low $200 range. This seems a bit steep for a television whose ... ...Overall, I like the Toshiba MD13M1 but am not overly impressed with it. It is a great television for small spaces such as bedrooms. The Toshiba 20AF46 TV is the set I have had in my bedroom for just over two years. I got it when it first came out by trading in my credit card reward points for it. I believe, at that time, it was about 25,000 points or somewhere around $250.
With its flat glass screen, clarity while viewing is possible from anywhere in my room. A very nice feature compared to the previous TV (rounded glass front) I owned, which caused distortion in the picture ... ...pared my TV with a Toshiba DVD Player that also has Color Stream and couldn't be happier with the picture clarity. One additional feature that makes this especially nice is that the TV, via the remote, can 'fake' your DVD player into thinking its display is really Wide screen or 16:9. This allows you to watch movies in any format in the right aspect…..Sweet!
