Advantages: Good humor, Family Friendly (all ages)
Disadvantages: Okay to rent, i wouldn't buy

...Melanie wants to go to college away from home primarily to get away from her father. James has his dreams and heart set on visiting Melanie at his old alma mater of a college a few miles from his home. Melanie gets her mom to convince her father that she can go on a road trip to visit a college hundreds of miles away. James is totally against the idea, but to show his idea of support for his daughter he stages to drive her up instead of allowing ...
...fun starts! You have to rent this movie to see what I'm referring too and once you do watch it, you can even write your own review. Although I liked watching this movie, I wouldn't purchase it for my own library. My Opinion: 1. You will laugh over and over again 2. The storyline was surprising well done with a simple message 3. All ages and audiences can watch this film and enjoy the humor 4. Hilariously funny stunts performed by ... Read review

A Time to Let Go
Review of College Road Trip by writermom

Advantages: a good story almost everyone can identify with
Disadvantages: none

...and live on our own. College Road Trip is a good illustration of relationships between parents and older children and how hard it is to let go when the right time finally comes. This movie is mostly comedy. You won't help it but laugh out loud at some scenes. Martin Lawrence was very funny as the over-protective dad and Raven Symone did well as the raring-to-go-to-college daughter who wanted to study at a school very far from home. But near the ...
...her at the university, the background music was so effective in conveying the heart-rending emotions involved, tears fell down my cheeks. I am such a softie for these kinds of mushy goodbye scenes! The supporting cast were all great. Donny Osmond was also very funny as the perky dad who has an equally perky daughter. Oh, and the pig should get some points for acting too :p A word of warning: You'll probably get the song "Double Dutch Bus" stuck ... Read review

Flying with Emirates
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by KELLYLOUJ taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Great food, service and onboard facilities
Disadvantages Slight delays and no footrests

...the onboard cameras as you fly over certain destinations and you can also view the route map on the information section. The entertainment system is one of the better ones I have used as it allows you to pause, rewind, fast forward any music you are listening to or any show or movie you are watching if you need to go to the toilet or there is some food being served. Before you fly you can also visit the Emirates website and view what movies will be onboard for your flight. I made my way through National Treasure II, Fool's Gold, PS I love you, College Road Trip and 27 Dresses. You will find in your headphones that there are a set of 3 stickers for you to put on the top of your seat, one is to wake you up if food is being served, another is to wake you up for duty free and another is to not disturb if you are sleeping. Review of Top 10 Teen Movies by eve6kicksass taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Some of these you may never have seen before...check them out!!
Disadvantages The worst list may upset some, but hey...everyone has their own opinion..

...ones of my own generation. AMERICAN PIE, for example, was little more than an update of PORKY'S, and a film called CAN'T HARDLY WAIT literally ripped off AMERICAN GRAFFITTI and the genre it had started. Well, anyway, there is a little background for you on the history of teen film. In compiling a list of the best and worst of teen films, I want all of you to know first off what my definition of a teen film is. Obviously, the majority of the characters would have to fall in the right age bracket, and I'm generally talking about 11-17 years of age, no more and no less. For example, THE SURE THING and SAY ANYTHING... are two of my favortite films about young people, yet they aren't exactly teenagers because they are college-bound or college going. ROAD TRIP would be a modern example of this rule, as it is about "kids" in college... Read review

Borat - THE film of 2006
Review of Borat's Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006) by nickshircore taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Advantages? 3 words - THIS IS FUNNY
Disadvantages some parts seem to be staged, but those that aren't make up for it

...becomes of secondary concern for Borat as he strives to get hold of Pamela and "Take her vagine." On the way he encounters racist Rodeo-goers, 'evil' Jews, a human shrinking Gypsy woman, an American joke-teacher and more. He gets up to date with his 'smack talk' with guys from the Broncs, meets College graduates on a road trip and picks up a bear along the way! But will he reach Pamela after all?... The film is incredible. It shows a range of guts, comedic acting and also some real exposing of American culture - the Rodeo scene is shocking to say the very least and as for the church scene towards the end, very very funny and explanitory. Borat is a film that cannot be missed, it is not all meant to be seriosuly considered, there are some scenes that are acted, but without them the film would lose its pace and plot. In the cinemas...
