Coffeeasy!
Review of Philips HD781065 by MisterB

Advantages: No mess, quick, looks great, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Coffee taste isn't great, those pods add up, why the small portions?

...frothy top on it, which Philips say is because of their "special brewing system". Nice. There are lots of varieties and blends though to suit your taste, including fancy cappuccino style pods and pods where you get a little sachet of chocolate to put on top. (We keep these for Sundays). Some official varieties are as follows (I've thoughtfully included the accompanying marketing spiel for each): Sumatra Blend An intense premium blend of ...
...Pod" and it'll work. Philips warn you though that it won't be as good, but they would say that, wouldn't they? I haven't noticed much difference, and my girlfriend actually prefers one of these other brands to the official ones so its good to look around and try out different brands! Conclusion So then, the Senseo HD7810/65 really makes the whole process much easier, its quick, simple, easy to clean and looks great. But the coffee? Not so ... Read review

-=-=-My coffee machine-=-=-
Review of Philips HD781015 by Torombolina

Advantages: In the review
Disadvantages: The coffee pads are too expensive

...like you to tell my Philips Senseo coffee machine called HD7810. I bought the machine here in Germany at a price of 50 Euro which is equivalent to 90 USD. The coffee machine looks like a giraffe. The bottom of the feet is a storage board, on which you can make two cups of coffee. My machine is white, to match my kitchen. The machine must be cleaned with water before you use it the first time. It is also very important to use fresh water when the ...
...may be obtained directly by Philips or in the store where you bought the machine. My experience with the machine is very good. I am enthusiastic about the coffee and speak out a 90% buying recommendation. What is clear is that the coffee is super, but the bad part is, as described above, the pads. That is why I only speak out a 90% buying recommendation. So far I had never had any problems with the machine, the coffee, the preparation or anything ... Read review

This coffee maker makes Senseo
Review of Philips HD781075 by ChocolateLady

Advantages: Coffee tastes good, machine is pretty neat looking
Disadvantages: Pods may be expensive or difficult to find, water resovoir isn't big

...the eye. Of course, it's Philips and that's a very well known and trusted name, so I'm sure it will last me for many years. All in all, a solid four stars and recommended for anyone who likes to make a single or two single cups of non-instant coffee without going to all the trouble of using your big filter coffee maker or your messy café press. Thanks for reading. Davida Chazan @ May, 2006 for DooYoo, revised April 2008 for Ciao! ~~~~~ Technical ...
...sure you can find it cheaper elsewhere. Also, these come in white, black, red and blue, but there are fancier models now that come in silver as well. The official web page on the Philips site for this product and its specifications can be found at http://tinyurl.com/4vfsw2 ~~~~~ ... Read review

The Greatest Coffee Maker In The World
Review of Braun KF600 by bigwerd07

Advantages: Long Lasting Coffee, Built In Brita Water Filter, Easy To Clean
Disadvantages: None. Nada. Zilch.

...bit more and get a Braun KF600. Or, you can do what I did, and ask for it as a Christmas present, and have your Mom send it to you!! Either way, the KF600 is the best way to go. With a price tag of 83 dollars on Amazon.com, the KF600 may boast a little higher price tag than you are used to paying. Heck, I don't think I would have paid that much for a coffee maker! But, after using it for almost two years, I can promise you guys that it's worth it! ...
...The Braun KF600 features a permanent gold-tone filter. This eliminates the inconvenience of having to find out the right type of filters and going to the store to buy them. Also, I find it annoying trying to separate the paper filters! A permanent, washable filter is so wonderful to use! The KF600 also contains a built in Brita water filter. This ensures that you get fresh, pure water going into your coffee pot. Also, you know that white, water scale ... Read review

Old fashioned style but 21st century flavor
Review of Bodum 1923-16 by shibainudogpersn

Advantages: Makes wonderful rounded-flavour coffee
Disadvantages: Coffee grinds to be disposed of

Bodum Coffee Maker - old fashioned style but far from old-fashioned flavor. When I saw this on the shelf in the store I was immediately taken back to the '70s and when I first started living on my own. One of the first "gadgets" I bought was a brightly colored Bodum coffee maker. I felt very smart and trendy, being able to offer friends fresh-brewed coffee on the spot. The Bodum name has always been associated, in my mind at least, with modern ...
...I brought this latest model coffee maker in to my home. Using it is very straightforward and only required the addition of boiling water to make beautifully fresh coffee. It is best to use a slightly coarser grind of coffee than the powder you might use in a filter machine. Remove the lid/plunger, making sure the plunger is fully extended/withdrawn. Put one spoon of freshtly ground coffee per person into the glass jug, pour boiling water over - ... Read review
