Super Coffee Grinder
Review of KitchenAid BCG100OB by
Padrino
Advantages: Clear top, easy cleanup, simple use
Disadvantages: limited color selection
We have owned this grinder in red for a few years and love using it for my specialty coffees or to grind a different bean than the one in our main grinder that holds a pound of beans. This little grinder will grind everything from a dry roast to a waxy espresso bean. The grinder does not bog down or gum up like those with chutes. It is also very easy to clean as both the cover and grinding cup are dishwasher safe. This grinder is extremely simple ...

Cool coffee grinder
Review of Cuisinart DBM-8 by
greekmiss
Advantages: Exactly how much and what size grounds produced every time...
Disadvantages: Grinds a little more than you indicate
When deciding to purchase this coffee grinder I was a little hesitant as it was a little more costly that I wanted to spend and already had a small generic coffee grinder that worked OK. I have to say that I am completely pleased now that I did purchase it.
There are quite a few options on this grinder that make it worthwhile. First is the fact that you can choose and change the size the coffee is ground to by turning a dial that is at the base ... ...the coffee bean holder there is a lever that you can move to how much coffee you would like to grind. For instance if you want to make 8 cups of coffee you can move the lever over to the number 8. The number of cups you indicate with the lever is approximately how much coffee is ground. I say approximately because the grinder tends to grind a little more than you expect - always! So I still measure out how much coffee actually goes into the coffee ...

Gotta have my coffee
Review of Hamilton Beach 80374 by
Justine82
Advantages: Grinds very well, Hands free
Disadvantages: Loud
I purchased this coffee grinder when my old one stopped working and I felt like it was a good price. After using it for a while I feel that it was a really good price for what I got. This grinder is small and doesn't take a lot of space but it's still big enough to grind up to 12 cups of coffee. There is a little cord storage area too so you can tuck the cord away when you aren't using it. It is very easy to use; you just select how many cups you ... ...It grinds very well whether you are grinding coffee or espresso.
There are various settings so you can choose how coarse you want your coffee ground. Also, this grinder is very easy to clean and I usually just put the parts in the dishwasher. It has proven to be very durable and I also use it to chop nuts when I'm baking so it has more than one use. Grinding is done very quickly so it takes very little time to get your coffee ready. Mine does seem ...

coffee bean grinder
Review of Proctor-Silex E160B by
schellsr
Advantages: small and compact
Disadvantages: noisy and somewhat messy
First of all this is a coffee bean grinder, as I have titled it .
This product is quiet small. Having a small appliance that does not take up too much counter space is great, first of all. I like the fact that you can store it in a closet, drawer or cabinet.
I think this is a very easy to use product. You want even need to read the manual. It functions like it is suppose to. I have never had any problems .
The only thing I wish is ... ...the coffee grounds from falling, and making a mess on your counter. I think it should have a bottom piece that catches the residue from the grounds.
I do wish that it was quiter, but I do not even know if they make a coffee grinder that is quiet, Don't you?
All in all it is money well spent. ...

GRRRREAT GRRRRINDER!!
Review of Braun KSM2 by
chantelleknick
Advantages: Works like a charm every time
Disadvantages: none that I've found
Very reasonably priced, and reliable, this is an excellent grinder. I purchased mine some time ago, and it has never let me down. Grind a little or a lot, it's up to you...that's why I love it. I can make a whole pot or just a cup or two, depending upon my needs at any given time. It's very easy to use and to clean up, and I've never had any problems with mine. It seems to grind just as well now as it did when I first bought it. I would definitely ...
