Liked the original version. Very fullfilling had a full meall all in one plate. This soup has it all vegetables, meat, rice mixed together in a flavorful rich broth. I would make the vegetables a bit smaller instead of the large chunks and maybe add some fresh cilantro for that extra flavor. This soup would be perfect for a weekend a family gathering during winter instead of the ussual ham or turkey. This soup is even better the second day flavor comes out a bit more. My kids absolutely loved it, I can not tell you how hard it is to have them eat their vegetables. My three year old asked for seconds. This soup has it all flavor and good taste. HMM HMM Good.
