yummy chicken strogonoff is a great way to please and satisfy any family member's appetite. Here is a recipe I love to prepare when I have those stressful family get-togethers. Enjoy!
2 lbs chicken breast (strips) 2 cubes chicken broth 1 onion chopped 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup of milk 1/2 tblespoon of mustard 12 tblspns ketchup 1 cup heavy cream 1 tblspn oil 3 ounces mushroom (optional)
Fry the onion in a pot with oil until brown. Add the chicken (let fry). Add the mushrooms, chicken broth, ketchup, mustard, and let it cook for 3 minutes. Place cornstarch in a seperate cup/bowl, add milk, stir and pour in the pot. Keep stirring once in a while. Then lower the heat, add the heavy cream & stir some more until thick. serve hot and enjoy
