I consider Chicago as one of the best bands of the 80's. They have indeed great hits such as "Hard To Say I am Sorry," Next Time I Fall," "You're the Inspiration,""If You Leave Me Now," "Song For You," Hard Habit To Break", "Glory of Love'", "I Don't Wanna Leave Without Your Love", "Will You Still Love Me." Their songs are full of feelings and great expressions of love. Even today's generation can appreciate their music.Their songs now are considered ...

Wonderful group. If you grew up in the eighties and nineties, you have to know these guys.
Their greatest hits 1982-1989 were among their best picks. I have their songs on Cd and they still sound wonderful, as compared to the original cassettes. There music was listened to in every skaterink around. Probably any party with couples would play one or more of their songs, for a slow dance.
They have some songs though that are up-beated though. "I Don't ...

Advantages The contrasting architecture. Music. Relaxing Parks. Disadvantages Parking fees. Rush Hour.
...~~A is for Architecture~~
When Chicago was all but destroyed by fire in 1871, there arose from the ashes one of the most famous skyscapes in the US if not the world. Chicago was home to the first ever skyscraper, a steel-framed ten story building, the Home Insurance Building built in 1885 and demolished in 1931 to make way for even taller cloud busters (as they were known way back when). Ten storeys, although no doubt impressive then, are mere small fry compared to today's skyscrapers - the Sears Tower standing at 108 storeys and The Trump Tower (currently under construction) is planned as 150 storeys high.
Travel up to the giddy heights of the Sears Tower ($12.95 Adults and $9.50 children) or the Hancock Observatory (15$ adults, 9$ children) to look down upon the city for a overarching and breathtaking view of the architectural...

...As I child I always wanted to travel to Chicago, the fact that I had family living their, which I hadn't seen in over 10 years made it even easier to go their. Having only two weeks in Chicago, I made the most of it, viewing all the big tourist attractions, whilst also seeing the smaller more unseen sides of the Windy City, such as the local museums, libraries, jazz bars, the attractions, which aren't usually advertised in the holiday brochures. This review will only cover my experiences of Chicago, I will try to explain as much as I can, but hopefully this will give readers an informative and different perspective of Chicago.
Brief History:
Chicago has quite an exciting history, founded in 1833. Chicago is the largest City in Illinois and has the third highest population in the U.S.
Chicago's history runs deep throughout the U...

Advantages its a colourful restaurant by day, funky club by night! Disadvantages you can't guarantee the drinks offers are on!
...CHICAGO ROCK CAFÉ - SWANSEA
There's a little club in the town near me and I won't go anywhere else! A lot of people will disagree with my opinion, but to me this venue offers so much.
I have been going to this club regularly since it first opened 5 years ago. I have eaten food there, seen many great tribute bands on stage, watched live sporting events, sat quietly with a group of friends and watched soaps on the big screen, and most importantly, I've danced the night away many times.
#A BRIEF HISTORY
Chicago Rock Café came to Swansea just at the end of the year 2000. It is a venue that opens early during the day time and serves food while a jukebox plays quietly or a film is shown on the screen. Not only is it a good quality themed restaurant, but you can continue your day out into the night with a live band or disco DJ...

Advantages: Great team, great players, one of the best managers Disadvantages: Inconsistent
...Team: Chicago Cubs
Founded: 1876
Stadium: Wrigley Field
Location: Chicago, Illinois.
Manager: Lou Piniella
The Chicago Cubs is a baseball team with great talent. They have managed to win the National League Central back to back but have fallen short of victory. The last time the Chicago Cubs won a world series championship was back in 1908. Wow 100 years. The Chicago Cubs great and talented players this year helped the team keep their distance from the rest of the major leagues with the most wins in baseball for the majority of the season. But almost past the halfway point in the season they went on a loosing streak thus losing the best record in all MLB to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The team then went to the postseason to face their rivals the Los Angeles Dodgers and being a much better team in stats this year than...

Advantages: Jordan, Pippin, and Rodman combined Disadvantages: 10 losses
...This team probably has the most fans, Most money, and most connections, Even though its not a bug shot anymore, Look at it 12 years ago, Yea thats what i thought! in 1995-1996, The Chicago Bulls Pulled off a record breaking season of 72-10, being beaten only by 4 points or less. With the combined forces of Micheal Jordan, Pippin, and Dennis Rodman This team was virtually unstoppable. Micheal Jordan, Favored as the Father of basketball, And the Best Basketball player of all time, This team didn't just have an all-star, They had a legend, Who would eventually find His place With The four fathers of basketball in the Hall Of Fame. Oh yes, The Chicago Bulls could be beaten, But not humiliated. Today Chicago Still holds onto that season. Winning the championship was bigger than the super bowl of super bowls. Advantages: Great pitching, solid lineup Disadvantages: that darn curse
...Well hoping not to be the Steve Bartman of Ciao and jinx the cubbies, but Chicago's favorite sons are looking, dare i say, like a World Series Champion type team? Shutter the thought. That would have to be the way you would describe them thus far in 2008. The Cubs boast the Majors best record at 39-22, and are leading their division by a solid 4 games over St. Louis. They recently just had a 9 game winning streak and are flying high. Can it last? Lets take a look.
How have the Cubbies gotten to this point. Well it seems like a cliche, but its been done with great pitching, solid hitting, and a stout defense. Pitching has led the resurgence of this exciting team and should continue to as long as they can avoid the injury bug. The starting staff has been solid, led by the fiery Carlos Zambrano, who boasts a staff best 8...
