Advantages Great songs and original Disadvantages None
...When I used to be online talking to people from America who asked what kind of music I was into, whenever I said that I liked Rap music, they'd always ask have I ever heard of Chamillionaire. I always said no, as I hadn't. Then, a few months later 'Ridin' (Chamillionaire's UK debut single), came on one of the music channels, and I instantly loved it - when I saw who the artist was, I though, well that's who he is!
Chamillionaire, born Hakeem Seriki, was born on 28 November 1979 in Houston, Texas. He grew up with fellow rapper and "Grillz Guy", Paul Wall, who both decided that they both wanted to be rappers, and set off promoting themselves at local events. Great second album
Review of Ultimate Victory - Chamillionaire by
brobbo07
taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Uplifting, great feeling to the album and amazing tracks Disadvantages heavy bass, that sometimes blocks lyrics
...fantastic 2nd album for chamillionaire, he uses the same style as the first album (the sound of revenge.) it has strong language as most hip-hop albums. the good thing about his style is that he has a strong set of verses with some very good rapping and then has r&b style chorus.
1.: Morning News - good introduction to set the theme of the album = 8/10
2.: Hip Hop Police - Chamillionaire & Slick Rick - the first single to be made off the album and using his style very addictive listening 10/10
3.: Standing Ovation - amazing beat to it and very good tune = 10/10
4.: Won\'t Let You Down - once again nothing to say bad great beat and explosive lyrics = 10/10
5.: Industry Groupie - very clever lyrics using other rappers album and single names to make a story, Great beat and chorus is good to sing a long = 10/10
6.: Pimp Mode...

Advantages 100% Profanity-free Disadvantages All very similar
...As the second album by Chamillionaire, "Ultimate Victory" had a lot of hype surrounding it long before its release. Cham made fame with "Ridin'" last year, and since then he has been under a lot of pressure to succeed in his rap career.
The album was released this year and has taken a lot of influence from the recent movement to limit profanities in rap music, thus the 'Parental Advisory' is absent from the cover. By doing this it ensured that thee LP contains: no swear words, sexual references or violence anywhere in the album. I feel that this was a step in the right direction for the artist, it may allow many more to listen to Hip Hop than before, as parents may allow their children to listen to it if none of this is present I feel that he chose to do this so that his political views could be taken seriously in the long-run, if he...
