The 3-mode intelligent power saving design allows GPS receiver to enter deep sleeping mode automatically. It consumes very little power and provide up to 1200 hours deep-standby time. Operation is as easy as press the "power" button. Here is the story: When you turn the main power on, pairing is automatically preformed. GPS starts to search satellites for 5 minutes while Bluetooth is standby for the connection. If Bluetooth gets connected, GPS receiver starts to work until Bluetooth get disconnected and then GPS goes back to re-search satellites. Or if Bluetooth is not connected, the system would jump back to a standby mode until Bluetooth gets connected. Don't get it? Don't worry, because everything is done automatically. And 5 LEDs indicate status of Bluetooth, GPS, and battery, which makes everything under control. BTG-7000 is Bluetooth v 1.1 compliant; support both Bluetooth headset and handsfree profiles, which enable compatibility with various Bluetooth enabled devices such as mobile phones, PDAs and Laptops.
