Cats are the perfect pet for so many reasons. They can basically take care of themselves with very little care from you. All they really need you for is to provide them with plenty of fresh food and water and to clean out the litter boxes. Cats take care of themselves by giving themselves their own baths. I have had my cats for several years and I usually only have to give them a bath maybe twice a year. They lick themselves clean and do a pretty good job at it if I must say so. Cats can entertain themselves as well. Just give them a few mice toys and they will get their exercise by pouncing around the house with the toys. You do not have to take a cat outside to go to the bathroom. This is especially helpful in the winter when it is too cold for you. You can stay in your toasty house and have your cat use the litter box. Cats are so easy to take care of every home should have at least one.
