Bought a Panasonic A200 cellphone for my wife & just fell in love with it. Firstly it is small, rectangular & very cute. Then its TFT screen is something you will just gaze at; never expected at the price of Rs. 3600/-. It has capacity for 200 contacts, each with 3 phone numbers, 2 Email IDs & a note. Memory is 512KB. Ringtones sound great & installed pictures are great. Calender, calculator, sound-recorder & alarm functions are there too. We activated ... ...the Panasonic website. The browser seems ok. Sound reception & ring volume are quite good. The battery lasts 3/4 days with moderate use. Of course text messaging is a bit troublesome & needs getting used to. It is a great cellphone to have if one is not a heavy user or a geek. For average cellphone users, the A200 is simply very good, if not downright mesmerizing.

Review Sony WM EX190
Never expected me to review a walk man of all the things on earth eh? Well I AM a technology reviewer after all and well. Walkman is technology. With the advent of MP3 players you would expect this is a dying species but you couldn't be farther from the truth. I would attribute this to three factors (1) The unit itself is cheap (2). The media (cassette) is cheap (3). The media is widely available. So it is a nice compromise ... ...in the soup. Initially the Sony WM EX190 seems perfect. Gradually (depends on how you use it) you will begin to notice two unpleasant things.
(1)Cassettes stop abruptly for no reason. You may have played it perfectly a zillion times before but there it is dead as a doorbell. Forward it for a couple of seconds and you are back online. I call it the dead spot. The dead spot affect both sides of the cassette. But hey check this out, play it on another ...

DVDs,CDs,MP3s have come int prominent picture but still Tapes are not gone it is and will stay for long untill & unless a Hiroshima Nagasaki like thing happens to the whole world... Okays... lets get to 2 know how a walkman is different from HI-FI music systems, actually the word HI-FI ... ...our ears... The SONY WM-FX 195 is no different it is a combi of tape-fm/am radio and is able to deliver the right amount in time of our appetite for pure music... it has all possible controlls for the tape section (STOP-FFWD-PLAY-REWIND) the Bass Enhancer increases the low frequencies effeciently... the radio section is too good, the FM stations once tuned, stays tuned without distortion and does not require fine tuning...the DX/LOCAL switch for ...
