Manufacturer's product description
The new EX-S3 is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel CCD for high-resolution, clear images, and a 2.0-inch LCD monitor screen for composing and viewing images. Everything comes packed in a thin and stylish design. A lens barrier protects the lens from impact and dust by opening and closing whenever the camera is turned on and off. The case is made of lightweight magnesium alloy, for a body that weighs a mere 72 grams. High-speed startup minimizes the time until the camera is ready to shoot after being turned on and a 0.01 release time lag records the image virtually as soon as you press the shutter release button. All of this means that you are able to record all those special moments whenever they happen.

Advantages Only 30 sec movie mode(s), light weight, easy to switch between record mode and movie mode Disadvantages useless zoom, useless flash, brownish light, pixelated pictures
...CasioS3:
Pros really tiny, Fast start up, 30 seconds movie s, small size and light weight, easy to switch between record mode and movie mode, Instuction manual nice and simple, Deleting photos can just be accessed by pressing down, Charging is very easy
Cons: Zoom feature useless & does not make picture any better,
Brownish light when taking pictures, flash does not make it any better,
Pictures of text are unclear,
Movie mode far away views and text are unclear
Movie mode only allows 30 second clips limited to thirty seconds, Easy to lose, Really low pixels .....
Need to spend extra more money on a larger memory stick and a protection case
NOT a high resolution camera at all, if you want something worth while get at least a five megapixel....

Advantages small and light, 2" screen! Disadvantages No optical zoom, Not for the proffesional
...I bought this camera when it first came out a couple of years ago and in my opinion it is still the best looking and user friendly camera for it's size on the market.
Everyone who I show the camera to are amazed by how small and thin it is. However when I tell them how much it was they stand back in shock. I paid just under £300 for it but that was a couple of years ago and i'm sure the price has dropped making it even better value for money.

This is how big the camera is, No BS.
The menu system is as easy to navigate as a nokia, though not in the same format. There aren't loads of tiny buttons that you don't know what they do. There is a circular keypad not unlike what comes with most tv remotes now-a-days, a "take the picture" button, a menu button and a display button.
The best...

Advantages stylish and compact Disadvantages digital zoom is hopeless
...The Casio Elixim EXS3 is a neat little camera that will fit into even the smallest of handbags.
It is easy to use and has three simple modes. You can take a normal photo, record 30 seconds of film or get extra help using the best shot function. The best shot function allows you to select the most appropriate mode for your subject, e.g. taking pictures of fireworks or flowers or at night. There is even a setting that allows you to take a picture in half the screen and then fill up the other half of the screen with a new image.
The battery life is good and would last for a week’s holiday without having to be recharged.
The only fault I can find is that the digital zoom is inadequate. If you use it to zoom then the image will become very pixelated. Subsequently, the camera is excellent at distance shots but only good...
