Advantages: Looks good Disadvantages: Does bad job everywhere else.
I'm a geek in some way for audio, thus would never buy any speaker that comes in square form as this is against good quality practice with of all because square shape is against physics, as you get unwanted resonance more often and situation, when sound waves cross each other which simply is not good for quality.
Then there is propylene cone, that is not good too, as it is not able to produce sufficient tension to air it pushes, thus you loose some ... ...these days, as it supposed to stand for extreme quality (especially in audio equipment), but it simply does not. If you need good quality speakers, please, for your own good, avoid these and anything similar. I'm sure they look great, but unless you need to impress someone with their shape don't buy it. ...
