...my search ended with the Griffin Roadtrip. The Roadtrip is a package that contains a transmitter and dock that can connect directly to your vehicle or lighter adapter to which from you can set and/or mount. The way it's contoured, is literally PERFECT for my 2006 Honda Civic for where the adapter is located. So those with the new modeled Civics this is a definite must have for the Ipod enthusiast. Advantages: Compact, easy setup, low cost
Disadvantages: Spotty tuner, at best

I bought this unit to play my ipod tunes in our 1994 Jeep. Setup was incredibly easy (plug into lighter, plug into ipod, tune radio, tune iTrip to same station). Reception, however, is an entirely different story. The FM tuner is exceptionally touchy and whether or not you get the signal seems entirely based upon luck.
