The RC (room compensation) technology devised by Canton engineers gives these speakers outstanding performance, which could hardly be obtained by conventional means. The heart and integrated component of RC systems is an external control unit, which is looped into the signal path between the preamplifier and power amplifier stage. RC boxes have impressive performance with linearised frequency response over the entire audible frequency range, powerful dynamic subwoofer bass reproduction and significantly smaller membrane excursion amplitudes in the bass range. The two manual control elements of the control unit permit additional adaptation of the speakers to the actual room acoustics (room compensation). This speaker is also supplied with a connect wire.
