As "the most compact supplier of full bass reproduction in this class" (Audio 11/98) it earned an "Audio purchasing tip". Characteristic for this box: Its detailed sound image, freedom from discoloration and balanced sound over the entire frequency range. The audiophile claim of this speaker, as for all models of the Ergo range, is justified by gold-plated bi-amping and bi-wiring connections permitting drive of the bass and midrange/treble transducers with separate amplifiers and cables.
