The XL1S is the successor of the XL1 digital camcorder. Like its predecessor, the XL1S offers maximum flexibility through its unique interchangeable lens-mount system, which supports a wide range of XL lenses and extenders. In addition, via an optional EF adapter, EOS EF camera lenses are also compatible. The featured 3-CCD with Pixel Shift technology allows the XL1S to achieve highly accurate color reproduction and detail. Designed to challenge the toughest shooting conditions, the camcorder even offers remarkable performance in difficult low-light situations. The XL1S is supplied with an Optical Image Stabilized 16x Zoom Lens IS II, which delivers exceptionally clear, sharp images by resolving over 600 TV lines. The incorporated SuperRange optical image stabilization technology even detects low frequency vibrations, enhancing performance further. Canon's XL1S offers a number of improvements over its predecessor, including a more user-oriented interface and new manual functions, such as advanced image control and custom possibilities. The package includes CA-910 Charger/Power, Adapter BP-930 Battery Pack, DC-900 DC Coupler, WL-D3000 Remote, SP-100 Shoulder Pad, S-150 S-Video Cable, STV-150 Stereo Video Cable, and SS-1000 Shoulder Strap.
