We have had our Canon PowerShot 750 for a little more than a year with absolutely no problems. We bought it to replace a Kodak EasyShare which had a very short battery life and low quality prints, though it had come recommended by family. We have been pleased with the battery life and quality of pictures of the Canon. The view screen on the back is large and swivels, which we love. My husband used the video function to record a song he played on the piano for me as a birthday gift, and it came out surprisingly well for a camera! It has a lot of memory space, and almost never has a problem with red eye. It is lightweight and easily portable. For the price, you cannot find a better option. We would highly recommend it.
