Aristotle figured out the principle of the "camera obscura" around 350 before Christ, sending light trough a small whole in a dark room. I guess him and Leonardo Da Vinci, the first who was able to develop this principle later around 1500, had a lot of fun implementing their findings, but I also imagine that with a Canon Oxus 750 in the hand, they would still be alive just to enjoy this camera…

My personal pleasure begins in June 2006, as a friend called me telling that he got tickets for a World Cup soccer match. Since one of my hobbies is watching soccer and events based on the obsession to captivate every moment and enjoy it later again by looking at the pictures, the first thing I did was to go to a store and check for camera offers.
You won't walk by a Canon Ixus 750 without noticing its amazing charisma. The design, small and compact gives it a manlike touch in a quite modest way. The silver-metallic colour enhances the whole package to an elegant and dynamic product that doesn't allow even the self-confident lady to set it aside. I have to admit that it was really easy for the camera to persuade me. After some shoots at the store, a check of price and competence, the camera was mine.

Which 3 things would you take with you going to a lonely island? For hygienic reasons, fresh underwear is a must! Besides this, there is no more useful tool for me as the Canon Ixus 750 and its charger.

Take your Ixus canon 750 in your right hand and press the on button. After, 1 second, the display flashes and you see on it all the picture-appliances that you've already selected. As long as you are satisfied with the settings, take the Camera to your head and focus on the target of your picture. You are not happy with what you see? No Problem, you can easily use the release-button to set up the sharpness of your picture. As soon as you have the expected quality, just press the release-button. Immediately in the next seconds, the camera provides you a view of your picture. You would like to see all pictures now? Just press up the button that is situated exactly in front of your thumb. Now you can browse trough you your pictures, and delete the ones that your mum won't like.. It's just an advice.
Certainly, there are many available digital-cams today with much more technical possibilities as this camera. The impressing thing about this one is how the technical facilities are incorporated, as clever that there's no need to be an expert to understand these and be able to use them. Using this camera gives you the impression that the producer thought about every small detail and specially, about how people usually handle their cameras. In addition to this, you have descriptions besides the buttons that help you to understand these. Through the menu options (you can check them on the display) you have the possibility to configure your camera however you'd like, check and delete the pictures, and also classify these.
Conclusion
Tonight, I'm going to a karaoke show. I don't have to tell you that my Canon Oxus 750 will also be there, trying to catch valuable moments that my colleges will regret tomorrow..
Certain things that you own can follow you through your whole life because of 2 reasons. The first one is the fact that with the years, there is a kind of emotional attachment between you and your personal belongings. The second reason is the fact that you are not missing something in the functional efficiency of the product. My Canon Oxus 750 achieves both conditions.
