...found this nice digital camera Canon A 510 ,a smart camera having lot of cool features in it.It normally takes 2 days through going over all the amnual and knwoing the functions of the camera which is i would say neccesary as the camera would eb waste if not properly used .
I strated palying with it ,taking quick adjust ment pictures and also taking time o take pictures ,on auto and on adjust mode ,but my best shots are taken with the help of it ... ...a car racing i took some nice picture wohhhhh , u cannot get them so cheap from such cameras.
Only advice to all purchaser is do immediate take the tripod stand and also the rechargebal batteries with the camera as it really is required for the camera to work effecient.
Lastly its the best ,cheap camera so go fro this camera damn sure of it........ ...

Offering a complete range of auto and manual exposure controls, the Canon PowerShot A510 makes a good choice for novice users and experienced amateurs alike. Its fully automatic mode keeps things simple for novices, while the camera's more manual modes offer the opportunity to gradually step up to more control. Plus, the range of preset exposure modes ensures that less-experienced photographers will get good pictures in difficult shooting situations.

Good starter digital. Has a lot of great features and functions, tho it takes holding the button for a second to take a shot. This is true of many other digitals, but it's still frustrating. I really like the B&W feature, the night-time setting, the delay up to 10 secs, among other cool stuff. I haven't even explored a lot of the many other features.
It's a good camera fro the price. I received it as a gift around 3 years ago, and it has help up great! If you want something really awesome, you'll have to spend more money. But if you are looking in this price range, this is a great device! Plus canon is a really well established trusted digital cam company.

Advantages Takes sharp pictures, handsome styling, price Disadvantages Flimsy rubber cover for USB and TV out ports
...Let me start this review by saying that I've been a fan of Canon SLRs for more than 20 years. However, I made a big mistake when I moved into the digital photography field a few years ago. I didn't (don't ask me why) buy a Canon digital camera but instead went for a Kodak CX6200 which gave me nothing but trouble.
When I had the chance to get rid of the Kodak, I made ammends and quickly went to a Canon store and purchased the PowerShotA510. I'd read some reviews of this camera on the web (most of them very positive) and so I plumped down my hard-earned cash. I was in for a pleasant surprise!
First off, the A510 looks very stylish and fits snugly in your hand. Canon is also very generous with the packaging. There's the camera manual (hardcopy and very clear throughout), software and driver CD, USB cable for connecting the camera...

Advantages Easy to use, Excellent quality pictures Disadvantages Would prefer it to be lighter, Longer battery life needed
...I bought this camera, some time ago, being a novice digital camera owner... What a great buy! This camera may have 3.2 pixels, but the quality of the pictures are first class - cystal clear. The camera itself is very easy to use, and the variations on the types of settings to choose from for taking pictures ie: Cloudy, Foliage, Moving targets etc, is very useful.
The software for the camera is easily installed and very easy to use. I really enjoy using this camera - its one of my favourite gadgets.
What could be changed? Well at a push I would have liked the camera to be a tad lighter in weight, the zoom in and out button could function better and battery life should be longer. Having said that I love this little beauty! Canon cameras have a customer for life!...

Advantages lots of features, excellent picture quality, great zoom, video recording is brilliant Disadvantages software could be better and battery life
...when i bought this camera i was pretty much a photography novice. i didn't really know what i was looking for, and just thought that the number of pixels was the key. but had a chat with a guy in the shop and bought this. i was not let down. i thought 3.2m would not be enough and i was looking at a lot more, but the zoom is incredible on this camera and the quality of the pictures is flawless in my opinion.
it provides 13 different shooting modes including portrait, night mode, quick and slow moving objects, landscape etc. and these are incredible handy and adapt to the conditions you are in. it has 'stitch' mode which can enable you to stick two photos together to create one long photograph. this is especially useful for spectacular landscapes.
in addition to this the video recording mode is also excellent quality with a good...
