...dropped. The zoom is good, quick and reasonably stable when zoomed in full. However! Whilst the quality is excellent for minimally moving scenes, it suffers when panning or if anything moves even moderately quickly. You see is a lot of ghosting and distortion becoming even stronger with low light filming. The difference between the old DV camcorder and the new Canon enough to justify sending the camera back. Sound Sound reproduction is very good and unlike the Panasonic or any other DV camcorder there is no tape noise which is an excellent attribute. Usability The camera is small and light which I really liked, however it is wobbly in the hand and the strap needs tightening to make it sit properly. ...I have owned this camcorder for a couple of months and am thrilled to bits by it. It is amazing value for money! Where should i start? ------------------------STRUCTURE----------------------------- Size: The canon v75hi is very small ( for a non-digital camcorder ). The camcorder could be easily stored anywhere and could be placed inside any size backpack for a plane / boat journey. I find that the Canon v75hi is perfect size-wise, not to small yet not too big. Shape: The canon v75hi has a great shape to it, it fits well into any size hands. The casing is nicely rounded and also looks good. Strength: This camcorder has a sturdy feel to it.
