Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi

I use the quick settings (change ISO Speed, AI Focus, Metering Mode and White Balance) every time I turn it on. Batteries last quite a long time and recharging is quick and a breeze. I use the self set modes a lot. The Av mode allows you to change the White Balance which produces better quality photos. I also use the The P/Tv/Av modes which allow for exposure compensation. It takes some time to learn how to use all the features available you've mastered them they are incredible and produce even better pictures!

There is a built in flash that will come up automatically or you can force the camera to use it with settings. The built in flash works well for closeups but when you are outdoors the add on would be better. For higher quality flash you have the option to add that on the hot foot located right behind the built in flash. You can change the lens to accomodate the types of pics you take (distances vs. closeups). I purchased the XTi with a Canon 18-55mm lens and then purchased 2 additional lenses, one of which was a Tamron and the other a used Canon lens. I have found no issues with buying other brand name lenses to add on to this camera - they seem to all work just fine with them. Picture quality is overall awesome!
