If you are just starting out in the photo world, this is a very nice camera to begin with, the quality is excellent, It has an instruction booklet that is very easy to decipher, even for novices and the format and software program that comes with it is easy to manuver.
I have had the camera for about 6 months and taken over 1000 pics so far and the memory is still going which is such a plus since the digital camera I had previously would only allow approx.15 good quality pics on its standard memory.
The only con is you will want to buy and experiment with new lens once you get bit by this bug! I'm looking at purchasing a telephoto lens now!
