The EOS A2E is the latest Camera to feature Canon's exclusive Eye Controlled Focus. Quite simply, Eye Control is the fastest, easiest method of selecting a focus point. This camera features a unique Transport System: Whisper Drive silent film transport using 2 miniature coreless motors, aramid fiber-reinforced belt drive, and sprocketless spool drive. Film Loading is automatic. Film automatically advances to first frame when back cover is closed. Film Wind is automatic too. It uses dedicated miniature coreless motor. Three modes are available: Single, Continuous and High-speed Continuous. Maximum winding speed: approx. 5 frames per second in One-shot AF and manual focus, approx. 3 frames per second in Focus Prediction AI Servo AF. You can also make the best use of a built-in retractable type TTL automatic zoom flash housed in pentaprism bypass control system.
