JVC Everio GZ-MG360B - Making memories last
Review of JVC Everio GZ-MG360B by JohnA

Advantages: size, weight, big hard drive, long battery life
Disadvantages: software issue

...We settled on this JVC Everio GZ-MG360B. Was it a quality purchase though, or were our memories fleeting. Let us take a look and see. I am always a straight shooter in these reviews, and this one will be no exception. There are some aspects to this camcorder that I have really enjoyed thus far, but there are some drawbacks as well. I will give it to you from both ends then let you make your choice as to whether you want to secure one for yourself. ...
...a TV camera. This JVC was so lightweight that I was able to capture plenty of lasting memories on tape, instead of hoping to catch that one important moment while I could still hold the camera up. Another feature that it had an advantage on other cameras on, and far outpaced my old camcorder, was in the area of battery life. With this camcorder I could finally say goodbye to those days when I prayed that the kids would get done with what they were ... Read review

Great camera for those who like quality
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR85 by bigwerd07

Advantages: Incredible image quality, extreme zoom, and touchscreen
Disadvantages: Honestly, nothing I can think of!

This is the best camcorder I've ever dealt with. It has great features, is easy to operate, and it is a very reasonable price. The 60 GB hard drive space is what attracted me originally to this camera. I wanted to upgrade from my old piece of junk Panasonic camera, so I went online and found this beauty. After reading great things about it, I decided to purchase it. I took it out of the box and immediately felt the Steven Spielberg mania creeping ...
...camcorder. I love the fact that it can zoom in so closely to an object so far away and not lose its image quality. I don't really use the night vision, but it kind of neat to have. It makes you feel like a Navy Seal! The touch panel screen is kind of awkward at first, because I was so used to using buttons on the camera itself. But, after a month or so, the touch screen became second nature to me. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone ... Read review

High tech Canon ZR 900
Review of Canon ZR 900 by BiteDownHard

Advantages: Best Quailty, Nice sounds, DVD
Disadvantages: Expensive {but worth it}

This Canon ZR 900 is one the best best camcorders around right now. It is the most high tech item in stores. Just the color will brighten up the experience. First off one of the main best features on here is that it does not use a tape to record. It uses a dvr disk which you can play in your dvd players. You can make home videos very easily and show them to people. The color has 14 different settings like no other. The lens is very tough and will ...
...it. The Canon ZR 900 is all together a really good camera and the design will just blow you away. You can pick different colors for the camera with different designs and they all work the same. You can buy this camera at your nearest Circuit City or Best Buy! ... Read review

Sony Handycam DCR-HC52 mini, but MIGHTY!
Review of Sony Handycam DCR HC52 by CMB74

Advantages: Great family moments captured forever.
Disadvantages: None yet

The Sony Handycam DCR-HC is a mini bundle of joy. I bought this digital camcorder close to Christmas time and I am suprised I haven't wore it out. This camcorder compared to many I have had in the past and others I've tried out from friends captures some of the most impressive sharpest images with vivid colors. The best part it doesn't lose any quality details when transfering to a DVR, PC or onto a CD. So all those embarassing family moments caught ...
