JVC digital camcorder
Review of JVC Everio GZ-MG255 by flmcam

Advantages: Great Video
Disadvantages: Poor pictures

I find that this digital video quality is great and the sound also, connecting to the computer to burn a disk is very easy with step by step instructions. However I have not had any luck on taking pictures with the camera they are always blurry, I have tried to change the settings for pictures but it did not help. Over all I am very pleased with the video's I have aquired with the camera. I also like that I can use a smart card or not. I was surprised ... Read review

Shoot in STYLE --------- they are Watching You
Review of Canon FS 100 by asomormridul

Advantages: Compact, lightweight, eye catchy, advance zooming option.
Disadvantages: Nothing so far.

...am to talk about is Canon FS 100 and the specialization about this product is the Dual Flash Memory. You must be wondering what this flash memory is? Just imagine storage without a hard disc. It seems impossible, but in reality, it is possible in recent times. The use of dual flash memory, which is the recent innovative technology used in some of the widely used electrical products like laptops, PDAs, MP3 players, cell phones, etc, literally replaces ...
...dual flash memory in the Canon FS 100 camcorder make it compact and lighter in weight. You need not strain your hands while shooting your favourite landscap or a mini soccer match. Just hold it with ease and shoot freely without putting much pressure on your hands. The Canon FS 100 camcorder has no built-in memory to capture your life's reality. But, fortunately the memory can be expandable by use of multimedia card, SD Memory card or SDHC memory ... Read review

Flip Mino Camcorder - Fast & Easy
Review of Flip Video Mino Series by susanoa

Advantages: Upload video straight to the Web, easy to use, small and portable
Disadvantages: Lacks the features of a $500 camcorder -- but heck, it only costs $155

...side of the Mino to flip up (hence the name) a USB port that plugs right into the USB port on your PC or Mac. As soon as you do that, the built-in software pops up, allowing you to view or edit your videos before clicking another button to upload them to the Web. Really, you can take it out of the box, shoot, edit and upload in 10 minutes flat -- or less. Quality is very, very good, even in low light and especially compared to other budget camcorders ... Great camera, buy extra batteries
Review of Sony Handycam DCR TRV460 by rprmsr

Advantages: Easy to use picture touch screen & great picture quality
Disadvantages: Batteries run-out quickly and still picture capability is poor quality

Great camera overall. The still digital picture capability is not very good quality, so we never use it. The videos are great quality in all conditions. It has even held up at the beach three times. The battery runs out quickly so I would recommend buying a back-up. The color touch screen makes it easy to navigate through the functions and easy to view your filming. It is simple to play/edit your videos. The removal of tapes is fairly easy as the ... Read review

Small handycam-Not too bad for the price
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR45 by greekmiss

Advantages: Small, lightweight, easy to use
Disadvantages: Software/Editing limitations, should buy extras to get the most out of it

...good is that? The Sony Handycam DCR SR45 is one of the handycams that I was researching and have found that it really isn't as great as I would have expected from Sony. Sony is my preferred brand when it comes to televisions but it seems that most people have something to gripe about when it comes to this handycam. First for a few facts about this Sony handycam: The SR45 is fairly lightweight, at about 3 pounds, and is a breeze to hold while filming ...
...is saved to a 30 Gigabyte hard disc which is quite large. The optical lens zooms to 40x and the digital zooms to an amazing 2000x. The viewscreen is 2.7 inches in diameter which isn't too bad. Sound is captured with a built in microphone that has built in 5.1 surround sound recording capabilities Now for some of the downsides... The zoom is truly amazing, but the more that you use the digital zoom the worse the quality of the picture once the filming ... Read review
