Advantages: Spare battery Disadvantages: waste of money
The cheeky people at Sony are getting a bit far-fetched to call it an accessory kit. It's a bag with a charger and a spare battery. While a spare battery is a necessary investment, what are you going to do with another charger? there is already one supplied with the video camera itself.
It would have been better to bundle this kit with say, a UV filter to protect your lens or a cleaning kit or something useful. In my opinion, to save your money, ...
