The cheeky people at Sony are getting a bit far-fetched to call it an accessory kit. It's a bag with a charger and a spare battery. While a spare battery is a necessary investment, what are you going to do with another charger? there is already one supplied with the video camera itself. When I bought my JVC videocamera, I got a few of these tapes with it. They also recommended JVC tapes to use with a JVC camera. Although I have used a few Sony tapes since I could not find JVC tapes when I was on holiday, I usually try to buy the JVC tapes. Quality of the tape: Good. The recordings are clear, with good clear sounds. Also if there are a lot of little recordings behind each other, the quality stays good, and the images and sounds ...

And I play the tape back and forth a lot. I also use the rewind and forth a lot. But this has no visible influence on the quality of the recordings.
