This mid-tower chasis wasn't a higher end product but the price does contribute to the value of this product. It is quite heavy when loaded. The specification showed about 10kg but after added all parts, the total weight could go up to 20kg! I built a PC in one of these cases over a year ago and can share some thoughts with you. ** My goal, a quiet PC ** I hate noisy PCs I really do, a PC to me should be as quiet as possible. I wanted a big case that would let me build a quiet PC, so one with good airflow and large 120 fans. This one comes with three and before you get too excited, three fans = vibration and therefore noise. My solution was to put the fans on rubber mounts which helped. ...
...and that helped reduce the hum to a minimum. However the PC has one design flaw, the hard drives don't have rubber mounts like you find in say Dells, so all that vibration transfers directly to the case making a lot of noise. The solution of course would be mount the HD in a 5" drive bay rubberized mount, but I didn't bother with that.
