This was a cheap little boombox that i bought for my dogs.... Yes i said i bought for my dogs... when I am gone during work I leave dogs in kitchen and laundryroom area and I always have a radio on for them. I find it helps to soothe them and they cant hear stuff outside and bark excessivley... for longest time i had very old Radio shack portable for them.. well after a year of trying to keep stations in and comming home to the dogs jamming to static.... i decided they deserved a new radio... i found this one at my favorite place... my local pawn shop... it was a nice compact unit and would fit on top of my microwave cart, out of the way. I tested at the shop and then brought it home... I hooked it up and set a station and i was amazed!!! The sound quality of this little box is very good! The weird "bug eyes" like speakers, set kinda on the side, make the stereo sound travel around the room. It is easily heard and enjoyed on a lower volume, as most cheaper radios need to be turned way up to truly hear it. It has a led display and is easily seen in a dimly lit room and easy to manage. The button are easy to read and easy to work... The unit is light and the handle fold down , so it is easily stored in small places... the cd player works great , doesnt skip and wont skip even if lightly bumped. I was pleasently pleased with the quality this little unit has and would fully reccomend to anyone needed a cheap to buy boombox. I am sure this will be enjoyed by my dogs for a long time.!
