CMD Titan CRD-7240

The Titan 7240 series of Fiber Channel-to-SCSI RAID controllers utilize third-generation Silicon Image, CMD Storage Systems Titan architecture to provide data-intensive, mission-critical applications with high-end availability, performance and fault-tolerance. Features including Mirrored cache memory, non-disruptive on-line RAID level migration and RAID Set expansion are complemented by advanced capabilities like non-disruptive online firmware updates, remote management via Ethernet and AutoRebind (automatic failback). The 7240's many features make it ideal for high-availability environments, including storage area networks (SANs) and clustering. The CRD-7240 is a dual redundant RAID controller with dual controller configuration. It is a cost-effective, compact 5.25" full-height canister, which installs easily into most industry-standard enclosures. It provides excellent levels of fault tolerance, availability, and performance making it a key building block for creating solutions for shared storage environments like storage area networks (SAN) and clustering.
