The Panasonic bread maker is a nice product, but I do not think it is for everyone. My dad was looking for one for a litle while and settled on Panasonic because he trusts the company, I do too. I bought this bread maker on amazon.com aver a year ago. It was refurbished and came with a one-year warranty. I tried the "easy" breads (white, wheat, french) several times and the results varied, but not because of the bread maker performance--I learned that I just had to be very careful and use precise measurements. Then suddenly, after having used it only a dozen times, it stopped baking properly. I continued to use the machine for the mixing ...

I called customer service and they told me to press and hold the start button so I reset the monitor readings, but that didn't help.
