I bought this bread maker on amazon.com aver a year ago. It was refurbished and came with a one-year warranty. I tried the "easy" breads (white, wheat, french) several times and the results varied, but not because of the bread maker performance--I learned that I just had to be very careful and use precise measurements. Then suddenly, after having used it only a dozen times, it stopped baking properly. I continued to use the machine for the mixing ... ...then baked the bread in my oven. After another dozen of breads, however, even the mixing wouldn't start. An error code had appeared on the front screen. I called customer service and they told me to press and hold the start button so I reset the monitor readings, but that didn't help. Customer service could do nothing more to help, since I had called past the warranty term. ...
