I bought this a month or so ago and I make bread about every few days. I read poor reviews about the bread flattening when using the recipes in the manual but I haven't tried those. Most of mine came from the internet and they all came out really well. I find that so far this is an excellent breadmaker for the price I paid. ...I'd recommend this to anyone looking to get started making your own bread machine bread but not having the money to invest in a nicer one like Cuisinart. This breadmaker does a good job baking several variations of bread. You can set the loaf size, brown level, and type of bread. I was very disappointed in the basic white bread recipe that came with it, but when I found a good recipe, my bread turns out perfect every time.
