I was on the verge of signing the divorce papers from my beloved Celtics and becoming a basketball widower, tired of the losing seasons, the inept coaching of Doc Rivers and our bad luck in the lottery. But those Irish eyes were smiling when we bamboozled the T-wolves to get KG (DPOY 2007) Sam Cassell came back from the mother ship and we picked up a young kid named Rondo, seriously how awesome of a basket ball name is that? Now it is looking like Doc could get coach of the year even though in reality it is the intensity and leadership ability of KG that has improved the team while Doc has stood on the sidelines with that goofy look on his face. Is this the year that KG makes it past the first round of the playoff? I think it is and with out wanting to put a whammy on these kids, I am calling a Celtics Lakers final and its going to be EPIC!! C's in 7 kid!
