With its innovative XTRASANITARY cycle, a thermostat-controlled, intelligent sensor heats up the water to 170º F and maintains the temperature for exactly 3 minutes. After killing 99.9% of most common household bacteria, the water temperature is reduced to a gentler 150º F to prevent clothing breakdown. The clothes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with no damage to fibers. An Internal Heating Element heats the water to up to 155°F while a Digital Temperature Sensor continually monitors the water temperature. Bosch Nexxt washers deliver the most efficient and accurate water heating method for the selected fabric types. The Bosch SENSOTRONIC PLUS package optimizes the wash process at every stage of the cycle. SENSOTRONIC technology senses load size, water level and temperature needs for superior results.
