This is the type of boombox that my daughter has had for a while. It is easy to carry around and I will even use it myself to take outside to listen to music as I am doing yard work. It does wonders. It has some nice features that came with it. It is really light to carryaround. If the batteries go dead then it also has a cord that you can plug into a socket. This was a cheap little boombox that i bought for my dogs.... Yes i said i bought for my dogs... when I am gone during work I leave dogs in kitchen and laundryroom area and I always have a radio on for them. I find it helps to soothe them and they cant hear stuff outside and bark excessivley... for longest time i had very old Radio shack portable for them.. well after a year of trying to keep stations in and comming home to the dogs jamming to static.... ...

It has AM/FM radio and stereo cassette/player recorder, with 2 way cassette recording (that includes CD & radio).
