...own CD's, so that was the first thing we tried in the box. Ah Beach Boys music...first song. Second song...then on the third song it started. Skip, skip, skip. I forwarded it a couple of songs, and tried again. Skip. I figured it was my CD, so I loaded up another. This one played 5 songs, and then the skip began again. This was a cheap little boombox that i bought for my dogs.... Yes i said i bought for my dogs... when I am gone during work I leave dogs in kitchen and laundryroom area and I always have a radio on for them. I find it helps to soothe them and they cant hear stuff outside and bark excessivley... for longest time i had very old Radio shack portable for them.. well after a year of trying to keep stations in and comming home to the dogs jamming to static.... ...

...when we use the casettes. It works only for CDs and to increase and decrease the volume. CDs can be loaded on top of this boom box. It has a built in Clock option and also we can fix alarm too. ...So I saw this cute Emerson Barbie Bloombox and thought it could be a perfect gift for her. And it;s true. Since it;s designed for children ( I guess) it is very easy to use. The color is just Barbie color, with combination of pink and white as another barbie stuff color. It's not heavy so it's easy to move it. Even my girl can do it her self.
