Want a Worthless Blender? Then Buy This One!!
Review of KitchenAid KSB560PK 5 Speed by bigwerd07

Advantages: Initially, it worked ok.
Disadvantages: Poor construction, bad customer service, defective cooling system.

...a blender. This blender by KitchenAid seemed to be just what I was looking for. I bought the KSB560PK for just over 100 dollars. As always with newegg.com, it arrived seemingly instantly at my doorstep. I anxiously plugged it in and made various cocktails of fruits and vegetables. I was initially impressed with the power of the unit. It handled the carrots and cucumbers with ease. After using it experimentally, I started to get down to business. ...
...by the manufacturer, I contacted kitchenAid by phone. Needless to say, they had absolutely horrible customer service. The lady that I talked to was not only useless, she was rude as well!! I was informed that I needed to send the unit in for repairs or replacement, under the one year manufacturer warranty. I found this out after being asked about 30 questions about how I used the product. I sent the blender in and I am awaiting the new one. Overall, ... Read review

Blend All You Want... And Everything!
Review of Sunbeam 6629 10 Speed by Lejandro

Advantages: Durable, powerful, Affordable
Disadvantages: Hhmm... 2.5 feet cord? (seems standard for blenders)

...my mind - Powerful! The Sunbeam 6629 10 speed is a product that has all the characteristics I look for in a blender - durably built, solid pitcher, powerful motor and a very affordable price. We have been using this atleast 4X a month for the last 3 years and still hasn't failed us yet. This blender has 5 settings to choose from; 1.Grate - To stir 2.Blend - To puree 3. Grind - To Chop 4. Liquify - To Whip 5. Ice crush - well of course, to crush ...
...Low option for each setting. Why I say this product is powerful? Honestly, for everything that I have done with this blender I have always just used one setting - Blend at low setting! Even crushing ice! It's just my laziness that I have done that but why should I bother? It always gets the job done. When I make my fruit shakes I always use cubed ice and not crushed and still this machine doesn't mind at all. In 15-20 seconds all those hard ice ... Read review

You can't go wrong with OSTER!
Review of Oster 6663 14 Speed by SimpIyCrazy

Advantages: Easy to operate and clean.Very efficient.
Disadvantages: No retractable cord. But that's not really a disadvantage.

...for a smoothie maker. This Oster 14 speed blender is a dream compared. I was lucky and found it marked down at a local Wal-Mart and paid $34.99 for this blender. So far, I am positive I am going to get my money's worth. It came unassembled including the following: One 5 cup Dishwasher-Safe glass Jar One leak-proof lid One feeder cap which also doubles as a 2 oz. measuring cup The base with motor Sealing ring Ice Crush Blade Jar bottom One ...
...the price was outstanding. I believe in the Oster name. I'm looking forward to experimenting with sauces and gravies. I would recommend this blender to anyone who wants a good, affordable, reliable blender. I like to research appliances I buy. Here's a handy website I used: www.oster.com ... Read review

Magic Bullet - Yes the "Virtual Kitchen Magician"
Review of Magic Bullet 7712.00 by JohnA

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: None that i can find

...watching the program for the Magic Bullet. Then it happened. I picked up the phone and actually made the purchase. What was I thinking? Was this really worth it? Let us take a look and see if this product is really the "Versatile Kitchen Magician". Well I am proud to say that it lives up to its billing. I have done so many things with this tiny little machine that I would not have done before simply because it took too much time. First let me start ...
...vegetables. Not with the Magic Bullet. We fill the large cup with banana, strawberries, blueberries, and orange juice, and Walla a healthy smoothie that they love drinking and don't think it is something icky. We have also been able to mix in some vegetables as well to the regimen so they are now getting things like carrot and leaf spinach in their diet while not having to eat it in its usual form. So you say it is good for drinks, but nothing else? ... Read review

Low quality smoothie blender
Review of Bella Cucina 10029 by greekmiss

Advantages: Fairly cheap...
Disadvantages: Doesn't last long - quality of parts not that good

...believe our experience with the Bella Cucina. I purchased this item thinking that I would save some money from not purchasing the Magic Bullet. It looked the same and seemed to have pretty much everything the Magic Bullet had. The only difference was that I was saving some $20-$25. The Bella Cucina came with the 4 cups, 2 solid lids, 1 cheese shaker lid, 2 blades, 4 cup edge rings and the machine base. Use is very easy - just add ingredients, close ...
...So I brought the Bella Cucina home and was very excited to use it so got it ready for a test run. I found a recipe for a fruit smoothie online and followed the directions for the Bella Cucina. I added a blade and started blending. At first it seemed like it was turning but then it smelled like rubber was burning. I didn't hold the cup down for a long time but rather did pumps to allow the bigger chunks in the cup to fall closer to the blade. My fiance ... Read review
