Good but not quite the magic bullett
Review of Maxi-Matic EPB1700 by jtbull46

Advantages: good with ice cream, veggies, blending eggs
Disadvantages: does not do cheese real good or large ice

This was actually a gift. When I saw it the first thing I thought of is that I am getting junk and someone should have bought me the magic bullet. Now I have not tried to use this for everything to challenge it yet, but it has done pretty good with the majority of the stuff that I have put into it. You get the 200 watt power mixer itself with this four mugsand edges along with a little cup to put something small like cheese in. You also get lids ...
...You basically load up put it upside down then press the juice and you are in business. Turn it back over remove the blade and drink. It handles pretty good, Milk shakes, protein shakes, smoothies, and coffee drinks with ice mixed in. I also chopped up peppers, tomatoes, onions and the like. It worked ok with chees, but not as good as the magic bullett. It also does not crush normal sized ice cubes as good as the magic bullet. Like I said This was ... Read review

A Great Blender
Review of Haier HB500BSS 2 Speed by flyfish

Advantages: esay to use and clean, fast, durable
Disadvantages: loud

I have bought this Haier HB500BSS 2 Speed blender since my last one was died before two months. As a person who makes smoothies and fruit juice in daily life for the last several years I am always looking for a good, sturdy, long lasting blender. After seeing some positive reviews, I decided to buy it. It is not fancy but just works great. It has served us well for the many smoothies we have made. I make my standard smoothie only take 6 seconds. ...
...jar, flip the switch, just a moment, you will have a perfectly blended drink. The big stainless steel base is nicely constructed on this new model as they help stabilize the unit, in addition, that is also easy to keep cleaning. The only complaint I have for this blender is that it is loud. If you can stand some noise for a few seconds, it does a great job and is relatively inexpensive. ... Read review

West Bend 6550
Review of West Bend 6550 by xiaojun111

Advantages: good price and design, easy to use and clean
Disadvantages: none

I have bought this West Bend 6550 blender for my family last month to replace my old one which was Oster. I purchased this blender mainly to make smoothies. My mother can not chew solid food as her has some major dental problems. I use my blender at least once a day. So for, I have used it for several jobs and I just love it. I use frozen fruit to make my smoothies and this blender makes easy work of mixing the ingredients quickly to make a cafe-style ...
...easy cleanup. The plastic jar makes it lighter and not so worried about breakage. The motor is quiet, yet powerful enough to handle my most demanding smoothie tasks. The cord storage on the bottom is also a great feature. Especially it has a satisfactory price. Overall this blender seems to be well made and pretty well thought out. ... Read review

Want a Worthless Blender? Then Buy This One!!
Review of KitchenAid KSB560PK 5 Speed by bigwerd07

Advantages: Initially, it worked ok.
Disadvantages: Poor construction, bad customer service, defective cooling system.

...a blender. This blender by KitchenAid seemed to be just what I was looking for. I bought the KSB560PK for just over 100 dollars. As always with newegg.com, it arrived seemingly instantly at my doorstep. I anxiously plugged it in and made various cocktails of fruits and vegetables. I was initially impressed with the power of the unit. It handled the carrots and cucumbers with ease. After using it experimentally, I started to get down to business. ...
...by the manufacturer, I contacted kitchenAid by phone. Needless to say, they had absolutely horrible customer service. The lady that I talked to was not only useless, she was rude as well!! I was informed that I needed to send the unit in for repairs or replacement, under the one year manufacturer warranty. I found this out after being asked about 30 questions about how I used the product. I sent the blender in and I am awaiting the new one. Overall, ... Read review

Blend All You Want... And Everything!
Review of Sunbeam 6629 10 Speed by Lejandro

Advantages: Durable, powerful, Affordable
Disadvantages: Hhmm... 2.5 feet cord? (seems standard for blenders)

...the summers' scorching heat! The Sunbeam 6629 10 speed is a product that will decieve you with its conservative and conventional look and price. Performance wise, it is somethin' you'd be happy for a long time. We have been using this more than 2 years and still hasn't given us any problem at all. You can choose from high and Low option for each 5 setting that this blender comes with. It can basically do almost everything that you throw in it. Cubed ...
...just 10-15 seconds of spin you will see nothing solid after. This blender also comes with a durable plastic pitcher. When I bought this I had my apprehension because of the pitcher but I was proven wrong. All this time it is blemish free. It is also light which is good when you want to use it as a pitcher straight-up. The blender motor is also surprisingly lightwieght too compared to others. I can't believe this product was cheap @ $40.00. Sometimes ... Read review
