I have had it for 2 years now, and have had no problems with it (unlike the previous blender I bought, which was a cheaper brand, and who's motor started to whine and strain after only a few months of use). I have this blender as when I bought it I was on the shake kick I just had to have my vanilla shake at night as my desert I also use this blender around the holidays for mix drinks such as mud slides, strawberry frozen drinks etc. But the best is the vanilla shakes now I use this blender for breakfast drinks in the morning one two three and I am done I have my breakfast drink and a tasty one at that & it only took me 5 min to make. I've owned this blender for about 3 years now and have had no issues. It crushes ice just as nicely as the day I bought it and made my first smoothie. I love this machine, I got mine as a Christmas gift and I've used it a lot; I mostly use mine when I make my home made pies, there are times when your corn starch just gets a little bit lumpy, maybe the flour gets a little lumpy in your pies, this is the perfect item to blend in/mix up and get those pesky little lumps out.
