This blender looks like a professional blender in my kitchen. The interface of this blender is what i wanted. I like to make peach ice blended using this. Just add in 1.5oz of peach syrup, or whatever flavour of syrup that you like, add in a cup of ice. Blend it for a while and a cup of ice blended peach is done. It grinds ice without a stop so you know that frozen fruit and nuts are no challenge. ...eat it. The Hamilton Beach 54245 Wave Action blender is very durable. I spent more for this blender, but considering how I use it, it is well worth the money. If I didnt' have this blender and had something cheaper I would have had to have another one by now. It has been that way for years. I would always have to invest in blenders so I could feed Sissy.
