I purchased this phone for my girlfriend for a college graduation present. I really never liked the Blackberry brand phones, but this one is a really cool little phone. It does all the stuff that you want a smart phone to do without being big or bulky. If you want a full keyboard, you may want to go with another Blackberry such as the Curve, but if you want a feature packed phone that is compact and stylish, the Pearl is a great choice. This phone will do just about anything you need it to do. Blackberry email is available when you activate the phone, which is a really great email provider. This allows you to have your own Blackberry email address. Unlike previous BlackBerry devices, the Pearl includes a music player, camera, as well as other multimedia functions. It requires the purchase of a MicroSD memory card to support storage of multimedia files beyond the 64MB provided internally. Instead of a scroll wheel, the Pearl has a trackball that makes navigation fun and simple. This is a great smartphone with tons of features that allow you to surf the web, email friends and family, and take & share great photos / videos. The Pearl has an attractive price tag too!
