I have a love-hate relationship with my Crackberry. (It is like Crack, you have to take it everywhere with you. When you don't have it, you're thinking about it...) The set-up is not at all intuitive like any other phone I've used, but this is also a different breed. Once you get used to the navigation it's difficult to go back to any other phone.
The Internet and e-mail push are the most convinent thing in the world. On Verizon the mobile IM isn't the greatest set-up, but there are programs to buy that are much much better.
It has severe memory issues. Have it set so memory is cleared out when the phone is turned on and off, set your picture file size to 12 mb, or better yet, get a sd card and store everything on that.
The applications for the phone are limitless and you have tons of fun possibilities. The calender is a great feature, and with verizon you get the data cable so you can sync with your pc or backup, or tranfer files to and from your blackberry. (Kinda like a flash drive!)
I've had my 8130 for three months and still haven't explored evertything it has to offer!
If you drop your phone a lot, or are generally pretty tough on phones, get a quality case or shell for this one! Display screen scratches easily. The battery life is much better if you turn Bluetooth off when not in use, otherwise you'll need to charge at least once during the day...
The keyboard is fantastic, and the Suretype entry mode is easy as pie
Overall this phone is great, few minor kinks that need worked out, but the blackberry forums can help you with most of those!
