The blackberry pearl 8130 was actually released as what some might be able to call a beta test. Somehow i get the idea that blackberry needed some development funds and was forced to release a product that was not completely finished. The pearl is one of the only blackberrys recently released on the market with a non-QWERTY type keyboard. While this compacts the size of the phone itself, i do not prefer the keypad. Additionally, on many networks, ...
...who does not own a blackberry themselves (not many people do). This is kind of backwards because i myself, along with other network users, are paying for unlimited media messages even though we cannot even send them in the first place. I believe on of the only networks to make MMS messaging available on the pearl is verizon. As for the navigation of the phone, the trackball can be frestrating at times.
