It is really a great phone! I have owned 2 BlackBerry phones and were very pleased with this upgrade to one with the addition of new wireless. Some 8820 owners have problems with the Wi-Fi connection, but I have no trouble connecting to a wireless network. I've successfully my phone in my house, at work and the networking of schools, none of them exactly the authentication protocols. Mine has WEP, WPA, WPA-2, with WEP and LEAP / PEAP authentication without worry. General surfing the Internet and download speeds are greatly increased thanks to the Wi-Fi connection as one would expect. In relation based on BlackBerry functions, the phone is as easy and convenient to use as other BlackBerry phones. My account is currently 8820 BlackBerry OS 4.2.2 (169) on them and there are some new features and some minor improvements in comparison to before BB OS. I really have no complaints in the field of ergonomics and comprehensive implementation of the other side the need to update the Web browser and e-mail HTML skills. These two properties are rumors in the next BlackBerry OS release by the year 2008. Call (and its clarity) the quality is improved, during my previous 7250 and 8703e. The voices are much easier to know and the volume can be increased, are very high in case of need. The total volume of telephony will be improved and horn players. I am also pleased to host such speech was in many other phones (marks) for several years. It is a nice feature for those who want or need many ink-numbering. I could continue, while a good time on the things that I like, but everybody has their own preferences. Therefore, I recommend highly (especially for users of BlackBerry-hardcore) that you use this phone and try to see how it works for you!
