Though the Blackberry 8800 cannot be compared with the iphone, I'd say this phone still has a lot of upsides. Lots of neat features. The Media Net (web brouser) is strong and fast in signal transmission. The camera is exceptional. It's the clearest I have seen in a cellphone (I think this goes for most Blackberry phones). There is no video recording though. The ball scroller makes browsing folders and screen options faster , a nice add-on. Design is sleek, good size screen, light but wide. Signal is not too strong. Me and my wife have the same phone and we have issues with this. Something we didn't have with our previous phones. Another glaring bad thing 'bout this phone is that the keypad seems to be pretty crammed up. The Blackberry phone keypads are the smallest you could possibly find in the market today. They also have changed the letter layout/configuration , making it even harder to use. Guess this phone was not meant for SMS texting. This is a total reversal with my previous phone, the Motorola Razr w/c had wide keypads.
