I have already used the blackberry 7290 over half a year. It was really amazing cellphone that I can't ues a word to impress. I remember I had write a review at the blackberry 9000.Although 9000 is my dreaming blackberry phone, ,I never want to replace my 7290 now. that's why I decide to write another review on the BB7290 now . I used the BB7290 for about 6 months before I had to upgrade to a Treo. Yes I know I said upgrade! I was using the BB 7290 way too much and the poor thing was getting pushed beyond its limits really. After some time scanning ebay, I found a seller who was offering former corporate Blackberry devices at what I considered to be very reasonable prices. I took the plunge and purchased an unlocked 7290 for a mere £22.50! Bargain! This is a quad-band device that will work all over the world including both North and South America. It arrived in almost pristine condition. The only quibble was that the battery had seen better days. A new one, yet again from ebay, cost me a fiver. The device came with the 4.0 operating system and I would need to upgrade it to 4.1 in order to "enhance" it with the third party software I required. No problem... Read review
